The Sunset Properties office location at Ocean Isle Beach is in the middle of what has been called the ‘Brunswick Isles’ of North Carolina. Ocean Isle Beach is one of four barrier islands along the southeast coast of North Carolina, with the others including Sunset Beach, Holden Beach, and Oak Island.
Our beautiful locale and mild weather has made our area one of the most desired locations in the country over the last 15 years. Some top retirement communities have been built on the mainland near these islands. Ocean Ridge, Sea Trail, Rivers Edge, Thistle, St. James, Winding River, and more all are award-winning developments that incorporate an active lifestyle with many available activities for residents. There are over 30 golf courses located within 15 minutes of our sales office at Ocean Isle, and a new public park with 8 tennis courts, playground, and outdoor stage with seating are even closer.
Our communities truly come to life in the summer season as we welcome visitors from around the world to our beaches. Weekly outdoor concerts take place in many of the towns, there’s a festival of one theme or another every weekend, and there are our beaches! We believe we’re spoiled with a series of wide and inviting beach strands that are as fine as any you might find elsewhere. Though our community has grown over the last decade, you’ll find the area well-managed by zoning. Our beach communities have height restrictions for buildings so that we don’t have lots of high rise buildings as you might find in other beach areas along the coast. Many of our communities in Brunswick County are incorporated into towns, each with their own elected councils and experienced staffs that work daily to balance the growth demands with the communities’ vision.
